The powder foams up nicely with just a little water, and it's gentle enough that my skin doesn't feel stripped afterward. It does a solid job on light makeup residue, though I do need to double-cleanse if I've worn a heavy face. Wish the jar had a smaller opening—it's easy to tip out too much.
